Conductix-Wamplfer has applied its spring reel technology to a series of rugged Torque Reels (also referred to as "Retractors") and Balance Reel. These are reels equipped with wire rope (non-electrical cables) to provide spring assistance to the lifting of heavy items such as power tools, looped cables, and other loads.

The Torque Reel (Retractor) increases its spring tension the further you pull the cable out. The "Balance Reel" provides continuous spring tension no matter how much cable is pulled out.

The Conductix-Wampfler Torque Reel:

• Includes nylon covered 3/16" diameter galvanized steel aircraft cable
• Operates indoors or out
• Includes a ratchet to lock cable in the out position - ratchet can be locked out for constant tension
• Includes rubber ball stop and clevis hook
• Has durable yellow powder-coated finish (standard) - special colors available by request!

Torque Reel Series:

1200 Series:  For up to 30 feet of cable travel, and 2 to 23 lbs of pull force depending on how much cable is pulled out. Available in yellow and black finish.

1400 Series: For up to 100 feet of cable travel, and from 5 to 35 lbs of pull force depending on how much cable is pulled out. Available in yellow and black finish.

EMZ and FMZ Series: For up to 40 feet of cable travel, and from 27 to 45 lbs of pull force. Grey is standard; special colors available by request.

Conductix-Wamplfer Balance Reel:

The TME Series Balance Reel has a tapered drum that provides constant cable tension regardless of how much cable is pulled out. Grey is standard; special colors available by request. The Balance Reel:

• Includes 30 feet of 3/16" galvanized steel cable with protective nylon jacket
• Is suitable for indoor use
• Has external tension adjustment
• Includes cable guide, ratchet, rubber ball stop, and clevis hook
